Get to Know the Horse Trainers at Bear Creek Stables
Pam Ashford has been managing Bear Creek Stables since 2016. Pam is an experienced horsewoman with over 30 years of experience with horses.
Pam runs a whole-horse riding program at the Stables. Her philosophy is that you “can’t learn to ride a horse from from the back of the horse. Riders must learn to know who the horse is.” Pam, along with her team of experience horse riding instructors, takes great pride is starting out riders on the right foot.
Danielle Shawhan has been riding and loving horses since she was a little girl. She’s taken lessons from top instructors.
She brings her passion for horses to all of her students, teaching them to whatever level they aspire to. Danielle rides the school horses, to ensure that their training is current and that the students can learn on the best.
Alexander Beckmann, the owner of AMB Equestrian, has been riding since he was twelve years old.
Alexander loves to share his in-depth knowledge, tailored to his students of both dressage and jumping disciplines with scientifically accurate instruction through rider biomechanics. He teaches all levels ages five and up. Whether you are riding for the first time or wanting to ride competitively, Alexander works to provide his students a supportive environment with clear and detailed pathways toward short and long-term riding goals.
